Everyone knows that the ocean is beautiful. At least it was, until the plastic pollution started. The ocean is a very important habitat to many animals and organisms.
Every day animals eat a great amount of plastic mistaking it for food and we are at fault. At least some parts of plastic products we use everyday ends up in mature, especially the ocean. Animals can't tell a difference between food and degraded plastic, which is known as microplastic, so they consume it thinking it's food.
This results in animals dying, but plastic doesn't just effect animals, it also effects us. At one point we are probably going to eat the animals who consumed plastic.
The painting we did shows to people the beauty of the ocean and that we have to do something against the threatening of many animals. We hope that our drawing encourages people to do something against it and that we learn from our mistakes. Moreover we have to help the ocean, animals and ourselves as well because if we don't who will?
