Reuse - Reduse - Recycle
At our workshop we examined the different types of plastic that are responsible for water pollution and we determined which are suitable for recycling at school's laboratory. We then molded and formed plastic sheets from HDPE and we used then for some small projects.
We had the opportunity to talk about the importance of redusing our waste, as well as the importance of recycle and reusing our waste. Οur trash end up in the environment and most of the plastic are becoming microplastics. From there they end in the organisms through the food chain.
In Technology lesson, students melted the caps of plastic bottles, creating plastic disks. From there they made a keychain souvenir to remember Cyprus .
